Before producing tungsten carbide parts, we first need to be clear on the specifications of the products. Some clients have detailed specification about chemical composition already, for whom we go directly to the next step. Some clients have specified some physical or metallurgical requirement and we work with them to reach the detailed chemical composition that would meet their requirement.
Our tungsten carbide products start from the wolfram carbide (WC) powder. Depending on the requirement of our clients and partners, we start from the powder with apporpriate granularity, mix it with various percentage of cobalt (Co) or nickel (Ni), or other alloys to achieve the desired composition.
After sieving and granulating, we then press and shape the powder with dies, and send them into vacuum furnace for the sintering process. Our years of experience in the production ensures that we can apply precise management to produce high quality products.
After the sintering process, the products would go through metallurgical treatment if needed, then grinding or lapping to make them eligible for final inspection before delivering to clients.
